Art Fortnight 2005

We are very proud to be an exhibitor at Art Fortnight London 2005.and together with our assoicated galleries of Tower Brige and Butler's Wharf we will be staging joint gallery openings.

Gallery Different presents "OMEN", and exhibition of recent works by David Begbie.

This exhibition shows Begbie's continued fascination with the human form. His steelmesh sculptures of single, multiple and fragmented bodies have a presence and expression which is both powerful and surprising.

The way in which the translucent characters and their shadow projections interact is a dynamic optical analogy of human relationship and the character of those relationships, particularly in the multiple figures, is deliberately ambiguous so as to inspire feelings and impressions in the mind of the viewer.

OMEN opens with a private view on Wednesday 22nd June 2005 from 6pm to 9pm.

The exhibition runs until 31st July 2005.
