Recent Events and Exhibitions
There was no quiet time for the gallery or studio this year.  On 20th June David was pleased to participate in the very well attended 18@108, a series of talks by members of the Royal British Society of Sculptors in which artists talked about their work. The Woolff Gallery had a very successful trip to the New York Affordable Art Fair where they received a very good response to the editioned sculpture.  Buschlen Mowatt Gallery presented “antebodies” a one man show in their Vancouver gallery.  The season is drawing to a close for the sculpture parks.  From May to October David exhibited with Hannah Peschar in Surrey and with Peter de Sausmarez at Sausmarez Manor in Guernsey.  It was wonderful to be able to see the way in which the transparent sculpture integrated with the natural environment.  David participated in Albemarle Gallery’s summer exhibition, which featured 15 artists.  Also in June David donated a sculpture to Art for Aids Orphans hosted by the Elliot Louis Gallery in Vancouver.  In addition to this David has exhibited in group exhibitions with Somerville Gallery in Plymouth, Magidson Fine Art in Aspen, Il Ponte in Rome, International Art Consultants in London, Win Henstock Gallery in Toronto and Catto Gallery in London  and Decoratum also in London.
