An over-life size sculpture composition of the human form, powerful, erotic, tactile and intimate. With a commitment to industrial materials the weightless quality relates to classical sculpture but manifests a creation of our own epoch.
The short video shows this over-life size sculpture composition of two female figures suspended in the Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden as well as presented at the studio - lit with a simple spot light.
“In all my mesh sculptures the mesh is fixed with a liquid tin coating so the sculpture is robust for posterity. A simple spot light produces a mesmerising ethereal shadow and alternatively a cross/top lighting heightens the body detail. Both results can be easily achieved either simultaneously or separately.”
