'STEEL LIVES is a fusion of contemporary art, fashion, and design, highlighting David Begbie's mastery of metal mesh sculpture. His works explore anthropological and mystical themes, using ethereal shapes and intricate details that create new, multidimensional and constantly dynamic forms of life. Begbie's sculptures propose a contemporary reflection on the interaction between man and nature, on the inner journey and the ability to dream and transform oneself, also leading one to reflect on the concept of sustainability and respect for our planet, a theme dear to both the artist and the organisers.'
